One in Seven Students in Kryvyi Rih Received a Laptop, and Every School Now Has a Modern Computer Lab

The Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, within the framework of the "Support for the Recovery of Kryvyi Rih District"project, has provided over 2,000 computers, 375 interactive boards, and 483 multifunctional devices to schools in the city and district. As a result, every school will now have at least one fully equipped computer lab, significantly enhancing the learning process.

This is already the second batch of equipment for educational institutions. Earlier this academic year, Luxembourg supplied 12,000 laptops, with most going to students and 1,500 devices distributed to teachers and lecturers. In total, one in seven students in Kryvyi Rih now has a laptop for learning.

Why Is This Important?

Due to the security situation, distance and hybrid learning have become a daily reality for students and teachers in Kryvyi Rih. The new equipment ensures stable access to quality education and helps students develop essential digital skills.

What’s Next?

The “Support for the Recovery of Kryvyi Rih District” project will continue until 2029, with further initiatives aimed at improving educational infrastructure and strengthening the region’s economic potential.

Our goal is to create comfortable learning conditions for students and provide teachers with the necessary tools. The first batch of equipment enabled students and teachers to fully participate in distance learning. The next step was equipping computer labs in schools, ensuring access to modern technologies even during offline classes.
